About us...

Warrington Tri Club was formed in April 2004 with 12 members and is already expanding to well over 65. We are based in South Warrington and are a varied bunch with members of all abilities from Ironman competitors to members yet to compete in a race.

Members are encouraged to enter local races, at novice, sprint and Olympic distances and beyond. Our ages range from under 20 to over 60.



 






 

Workshops

Each month we try and hold a seminar on different topics, 2007/08 we had seminars covering, Strength and Conditioning, Sports Nutrition, Bike Maintenance, A Beginners Guide, swim technique and more. The new winter 08/09 schedule will be available soon.

Covering race distances and types, training, race tips, pre race preparation and more.

Swim Workshop

Tuesday 8th Jan 7:30 at Warrington Sports Club. With swim technique and training tips for all distances upto Ironman.

Bike Fit Workshop

Tuesday 12th Feb 7:30 at Warrington Sports Club.

- The importance of having a good fit on your bike.
- A methodical approach to achieving an efficient bike fit
- What to look for when setting your bike up
- Practical demonstrations on good fit and poor fit

 

Nutrition Planning Workshop

Tuesday 11th Mar 2008t 7:30 at Warrington Sports Club.

Covering areas such as :
-Ensure good health & prevent illness/injury
-Recovery between sessions
-Achieving optimal body size/composition
-Carbohydrate – the key nutrient for energy
