catastrophic news I'm afraid. The Trapiste bar has been closed down. The balifs came in and ceased all their beer. They hope to open up elsewhere in May but this friday night is for obvious reasons a problem.
How about a meal out at the mexican tavern also in Altrincham. Or a pub crawl either in Altrincham or any other convenient area.
I'm keen to do something - its taken some time to organise this date.
What do people think??? |

I'm OK with an alternative - Altrincham, Stockton Heath, Comberbach.....or Lymm !

We're still up for something - we've got our passes so it would be a shame not to use them

OK lets have a mexican night at the mexical tavern. Its on the main road in Altrincham. I will book it for 8pm as its for food. If people was to go for a drink afterwards they can. There's one in liverpool which we used to go to alot. you get lots and lots of food and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.

Rob were you serious about Lymm. I assume not as there is no public transport. for that reason I had ruled it out. The tapas place is very good though if people would prefer it.

Hi Katie
Yes I'd have gone to Lymm, I think you should go with what the organiser is willing to arrange. So if you had chosen local it would have been fine with me. Just threw in Comberbach as a suggestion as the pub crawl could have done both the Spinner & the Drum!
See you Friday

Ok so the saga continues Mex tavern now full. Have prov booked for tapas at the lymm bar bistro. I know it looks like I'm arranging the night to suit me, which of course it does. I just thought I knew the place and finding space for a largish group is not easy this close to Friday night. I assume almost everyone who was originally interested remains so. Please let me know if anything has changed.

830 at the tapas bar - called bar bistro. If you are early I suggest the saddlers opposite. James and I will be there from 8.
